Well here it is! Up and running for the first time in over 18 years - our original 1966 Jaguar XJ13 Prototype V12 4 cam engine!
We are delighted to finally show you this incredible piece of Automotive Heritage running on the Dyno.
The sound of the engine truly makes the hairs on the back of your neck stick up. Have a listen, the sound is just sublime AND we are using a noise cancelling microphone for filming. Think of this sound but times ten!
Outside of the Factory Car, this engine is the only ‘Jaguar Certified’ original prototype engine in existence, so it’s pretty damn special as well as being a complete work of art! Can’t wait to get the ‘True Spirit of XJ13’ out on the track.
