Maldon, Essex – 1st March, 2019 – Woodham Mortimer is delighted to announce that it is the official classic car partner to Goodwood’s 77th Members’ Meeting, held on 6-7 April 2019. The exclusive partnership is an important step in cementing Woodham Mortimer’s position as one of the leading classic car restoration, racing, and trading businesses within the UK classic car market and demonstrates its commitment to support the historic racing scene.
To complement its broader support of the Members’ Meeting, Woodham Mortimer’s renowned race team will enter a number of its own and customer cars into races throughout the meeting. These will include a wonderful Frazer Nash Le Mans Replica and a stunning pre-war Bentley 3/4½ litre. It is also proud to provide a number of beautiful course cars that will be seen on track between races throughout the event.
Showcasing the quality of Woodham Mortimer’s award-winning workshop and restoration capabilities, the company will also exhibit a selection of stunning race prepared cars in the paddock area behind the Jackie Stewart Pavilion, including a Shelby Cobra and one of the company’s stunning GT40 race cars. A selection of exquisite classic cars currently offered for sale by Woodham Mortimer will also be displayed near the circuit entrance. It is also with great pleasure that the company will present the Graham Hill Trophy race for closed-cockpit GT cars and prototypes in the spirit of the RAC TT races, 1960-1964; cars very much of the type most associated with Woodham Mortimer’s business.
Jean-Marc Gales, Woodham Mortimer’s Chairman and CEO says: “Goodwood’s 77th Members’ Meeting perfectly aligns with Woodham Mortimer’s work at the very highest level of classic car restoration, racing and sales. We are delighted about partnering with Goodwood for the exclusive event and demonstrating the impeccable standards that our workshop and race team work to. It is also a delight that the company, which only launched as Woodham Mortimer in 2018, is in a position to support such an exclusive event.”
