Maldon, Essex – November, 2019 – Woodham Mortimer, the leading race preparation and classic car restoration specialist, has enjoyed a phenomenal 2019, 12 months on from establishing the new brand. With a proven track record in sales success and with packed restoration and workshops throughout the year, the company has paved the way for continued growth and investment in 2020.
The company has cemented its position as one of Europe’s leading restoration, race preparation and event support businesses and has supported the classic car industry with significant sponsorship deals with two of Europe’s most prestigious events – the Goodwood Revival and the 1000 Miglia. Woodham Mortimer established itself as the exclusive classic car partner to the Goodwood Revival in 2019 and has committed to the same partnership for 2020. Similarly, the company proudly announced that it was the 2019 Restoration Global Partner to the 1000 Miglia, and successfully ran a team of ten cars in the legendary Italian event this year – the biggest single team entry to take part. Its position as the Restoration Global Partner for the 2020 and 2021 1000 Miglia has now been confirmed and the company is aiming to support 10 cars in both events.
As part of the ongoing investment in the business, the company is delighted to announce that it is building new premises in Chelmsford, Essex, creating a state-of- the-art headquarters from which the company can continue to expand its world-leading classic car services. The new site will feature improved restoration facilities that will again include a Body shop, paint shop, trim shop, engine build facilities, race shop and general servicing workshop. As a one-stop shop for restoration work across multiple marques which gives us the enviable position of being able to maintain control of a project throughout the whole process.
