On eight Sundays, from February through to October, classic car enthusiasts can again book a free, guided tour of JD Classics’ Maldon sales and restoration complex for a glimpse behind the scenes of our operation.
Visitors will be able to take a good look at our mechanical, body, race, engine, machine and trim shops, the storage room (where vehicles wait for restoration and sale) as well as all five fully-stocked showrooms, with several spectacular classics on show. Well-prepared refreshments will be on hand too, available at reasonable prices.
Doors open at 8.30am and – if all goes to plan – close again at 11.30am. We’ve got some great guest speakers in mind for 2011, so we’ll be sure to let you know who’s appearing when just as soon as they’re inked in.
Your host on the tour will either be JD Classics’ Sales Manager Richard Graylen or owner and founder Derek Hood. Depending on availability, you might even have both!
Since starting in 2009, these tours have proved to be extremely popular, with demand for places typically high. So if you want to come along, please note that groups of more than five cars need to book – and bookings are made on a first-come, first-served basis. So take a look at the list of dates available in 2011 and call Richard Graylen on +44 (0)1621 879579 today to get yourself and/or your club’s tour booked in first for ‘Breakfast at JD’s’ in 2011.
