Description
2002 Ferrari 575M Maranello RHD
Launched in 2002 the 575M Maranello is a front engine rear wheel drive two seat grand tourer built by Ferrari as a replacement for the 550 Maranello. While superficially similar to its predecessor, the 575 included minor styling changes penned by Pininfarina as well as some more substantial technical improvements and a revised interior. The more significant changes included larger disc brakes, an enlarged and more powerful engine (delivering a top speed of 202 mph), improved weight distribution and adaptive suspension technology. The 575 also included a choice of two six speed transmissions including a conventional manual gearbox and, for the first time on a Ferrari V12, Magneti Marelli's semi-automatic 'F1' gearbox.
This particular example is a UK delivered Right Hand Drive car that was fitted with the F1 gearbox from new and has the added benefit of having been upgraded by Maranello Sales Ltd in 2004 with the highly desirable Fiorano handling package and subsequently a Tubi exhaust system. Delivered to its first customer in Twickenham in July of 2002 it was finished in the very rare colour scheme of Verde Zeltweg over Beige and came with a beautiful three-piece set of fitted luggage. Since that time the car has had only two subsequent owners and seen very little use, as evidenced by just 16,501 miles on the odometer. With matching numbers, exceptional original paint and interior, a full service record and bills exceeding £38,000 on file, this Ferrari must be one of the most original and cherished 575s in existence and provides a wonderful opportunity to acquire a highly authentic and unusual example of this model.
It comes accompanied by a complete tool kit, full set of factory handbooks and documents, good history file with numerous invoices, battery case, tyre inflation compressor and the aforementioned fitted luggage. Please contact us for further details. SOLD.
