Description
This Maserati is a very rare car being one of just 251 Vignale Spyders produced and one of only 5 built in RHD.
Constructed in October 1963 it was delivered to its first owner in London in February of 1964 and came fitted with optional Borrani wire wheels, which it retains to this day along with full matching numbers and a good history file. Factory 5 speed gearbox and electric windows.
Currently undergoing a full JD Classics restoration to concours condition, it will benefit from a bare metal respray to be finished in Grigio Metallic (Gunmetal) and will be re-trimmed with Biege Leather. All mechanical components are being fully overhauled, renewed and rebuilt as required including suspension, brakes, engine (including original fuel injection system), clutch, gearbox, differential and steering.
Due for completion in spring 2017, it provides an exceptionally rare opportunity to purchase one of the rarest right hand drive open top Maserati’s in immaculate condition.
