Description
This Jaguar was built in early January 1954 and delivered new to Australia. Being one of the earlier Mk VII series cars, as opposed to the later Mk VII M, it features the correct integrated fog lamps and earlier pattern ridged bumpers with smaller over-riders.
Having only two owners from new it remains highly original with full matching numbers and is accompanied with its original tool kits, owner’s manual and a selection of invoices. In addition the car retains its rare factory-installed steel sliding sun-roof.
Having received a sympathetic restoration prior to its return to the UK, the car now presents in delightful condition with its original factory colour scheme of black with tan interior. The panel gaps are superb and a testament to the car’s originality and the quality of the previous restoration. Being realistically priced and with Mille Miglia eligibility it provides fantastic value for money and an ideal entry point to historic motorsport.
